Avoir l'esprit distrait rend triste
Les individus passent presque la moitié du temps à imaginer faire autre chose que ce qu'ils sont réellement en train de faire, et cette continuelle distraction les rend tristes, selon une étude américaine.

Hotel 626
Hotel626 is a horror puzzle game, which challenges you to escape from a haunted hotel while solving challenges and avoiding an untimely demise. The puzzles aren’t going to thrill seasoned adventure gamers, but the overall production value is impressive, as is the novel use of elements like your webcam, microphone, and even your cell phone.
One thing though: you can only play the game at night. (If you’re sneaky, you might try changing your system clock to sometime after 6PM)

The Sand Glass is a new look at traffic lights. Surely people must be frustrated with the current design. LED lights trickle down to make an obvious statement, regarding the time left for the lights to change. Easy and intuitive.

Le fou du village
Dowtown Verdun, Luc est un vrai fou du village. Celui qu'on appelle par son nom, celui qui alimente la machine à rumeurs du métro de l'Église, celui qu'on tolère, mais qu'on ignore du même coup parce qu'il incarne la maladie mentale. «Pendant longtemps, la population voulait partager son espace avec les fous, mais aujourd'hui, il y en a tellement qu'elle les ignore. On fait exprès pour ne pas les voir, même s'ils existent».

Robert Smith prend l'air chez Crystal Castles
Avec son nouveau single, qui sortira en décembre, "Not In Love", l'excellent groupe de Toronto, Crystal Castles, a réussi un gros coup en enrolant en lieu et place de sa succulente chanteuse habituelle Alice Glass, rien moins que Robert Smith "le magnifique", leader omnipotent de The Cure ou Cure comme ils se font appeler maintenant. Le résultat est tout simplement la meilleure chanson chantée par Robert Smith depuis au moins 10 ans et sans conteste l'un des meilleurs singles de l'année. Les Canadiens et le Britannique, s'ils se situaient sur des orbites assez éloignées du cirque musical, avaient quelques bonnes raisons de se rencontrer, à commencer par un goût prononcé pour les ambiances mortifères et crépusculaires, un intérêt pour la souffrance et ses expressions chantées et, bien sûr, une capacité à évoquer en termes simples (tous les mots clés y sont) des choses compliquées.

3D Stereoviews of Old Japan
These 3D stereoviews were made in the late 19th – early 20th century by known Japanese photographer T. Enami.
Normally, stereoviews consist of two almost identical photos and when viewed through a stereoscope, it gives the impression of three-dimensional space.
Now let’s look at these 3D steroviews, but the good thing is, we won’t need any stereoscopes as they are already animated, but the effect is still the same.-Isismile.com
L'Impact sanctionné pour les incidents suivant son élimination
La fédération américaine de soccer (USSF) a décidé de sanctionner l'Impact de Montréal à la suite des incidents qui se sont produits après l'élimination du club en Caroline, le mois dernier.
Nick DeSantis, sera suspendu pour six parties en plus d'écoper d'une amende de 1500 $ US. L'USSF a aussi imposé une amende de 5000 $ à l'Impact.
