Paintings of children interacting with animals by Houston-based artist Kevin Peterson. An accomplished hyperrealist painter, Peterson portrays the children and wildlife in urban graffiti marked spaces; a contradiction that heightens the subjects’ dislocation yet retaining a sense of innocence despite their worn surroundings.
